Some would believe that there's nothing good that comes out of Nebraska (including football at times)! I want to change that belief. I am a homegrown, Nebraska bred woman. I left for 5 years while I did my undergraduate studies at Arkansas State University. But believe me Arkansas isn't that different from Nebraska. I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Journalism while I was bowling for their NCAA women's team. (We were National Runner's Up in 2008, I was captain!)
I then decided to move back to Nebraska and get a Master of Arts degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am majoring in Marketing, Communications and Advertising while working at Campus Recreation as the Graduate Assistant for Graphic Design. During this time I married my wonderful husband who I dragged up here from Arkansas. He works in TV so I just can't get away from the media.
I absolutely love design of any kind. Be it web, print, or 3-dimensional (etc.) I tend to call my style bold and clean (sometimes at least). I like to dabble in illustration and photography when the project calls for it. I have even recently fallen for social media marketing and all the possibilites that are out there in this new genre.
